LOL ( lots of love ) cosmetics review

I dropped by to Watsons yesterday and got caught on a new cosmetic line named LOL ( lots of love ). I was curious about it and checked on the products they have. I tried some of their tester and decided to buy the blush duo because I was impressed with the pigmentation and the shade is so pretty.

They have 2 type of this , I got mine in 02 Chateau Rose and this one is the lighter shade perfect for daily blush. Earlier I mentioned that it is very pigmented and I also tested the lasting power of this blush, it did last long I had to retouch after 8hrs.

The palette does have a brush ( the usual free brush we don't usually use :D )

I would probably try some of the products they have, I would definitely buy the other shade of this blush duo palette since I super love it and it's very affordable. This blush palette only cost me P138. They have lipsticks that cost P99 and comes in different shades. LOL is a must try! :)

I don't even remember when was the first time I got so interested in beauty stuff, it just happened one day that I got so into make-up and I want to make people beautiful. I started my business while continuing to do my passion in make-up.I decided to sell cosmetics align with my clothing business since it is very much related, everything falls into beauty.

If you read my previous blog about how to start up a business, you can see how I started everything from scratch. And yes I love to do researching and learning things on my own with my efforts and hard work so then while in business I have learned to grow and discover new things. I started my business through online via Multiply (already not operating. tsk), Sulit and Facebook and there is actually no assurance how long these media would last for you so I know it's a lot better to have your own website. And yes! I made a lot of research through google on how to own a website.Online business now is getting more updated and considered as the easiest and convenient way of shopping , and as an entrepreneur I never wanna be outdated so I was really crazy on how to make my own website. I know how expensive it is to hire experts to make your website and I just know I can't spend much for that. After a few months, days and times to do research I finally found it ( Thanks to tictail). I want it to be simple and chic so I studied basic HTML and CSS thingy ( if you know what I mean . :D) Now I am launching it, I will not stop here I would still continue to innovate this site as much as I can. And hopefully I can launch my own clothing site in the near future.

Crazy about Tokyo Love Soap!

Yes, a lot of people ( I mean women specifically ) goes in rave about this particular soap. So I was like " What is in that soap that is so intriguing?" well, yes I think because for the price it is kinda expensive for a soap. When I first heard about it, I just flipped and searched it right away and i found the website ( http://tokyoloveshop.com/ ).

When I received the package, I was impressed how fast it was delivered from Japan to Philippines ( 3-5 days for Mindanao ).  Not bad right! So I got mine in TLS Original and TLS Premium. ( Thank you TLS).

I first used TLS Original for a month before I had to write this blog review. Ok, so since it is pretty expensive for a soap I was thinking on how to use it WISELY! Yes, i had to slice it into pieces like some of the blogs I've read ( slicing-like-a-cake technique  =) haha ) . I really had to try it so i did, gladly I must say the slicing technique lasted me for a month+1week ( Yey! I'm so happy!That is totally worth it!)  So girl, if your having doubts to try it because of the price then think again.

I am a fan/user of any whitening soap (kojic,gluta,etc.) and one same thing I experienced with these type of soaps is that my skin tends to dry out especially after shower. I'm sure a lot of you girls can relate. But this particular soap is just a WOW! I never experienced dryness, I can only feel how it softens out my skin. I haven't tried TLS Premium ( will separate a blog post for that ) but in TLS Original it took me awhile to recognize the whitening effect, I only realized it when my friends are telling me that my skin is radiant and glowing (Yay!) and I got even crazier about it (haha).

Overall, I like the softening effect of TLS Original and I will definitely try other variants. It is definitely worth it!

I need you, Honey! Mask by Etude House

It's been awhile since my last blog and i had to find time for this because I'm simply excited to blog this product. :)

I need you, Honey! mask from Etude House is my favorite skin pampering routine lately. I've been loving this mask because it makes my skin soft and radiant especially in the morning when your skin is well rested. The main ingredient is obviously :) Honey, which is very good for our skin. And it contains 4 mini package which can be consumed for a whole month. Each package comes with different ingredients together with the Honey ( like ginger,ginseng ).

Per mini pack : you can use it in half for twice a week (so the whole 4packs can be used in a month)
Repurchase? yes, i will definitely purchase again. I actually love using EH face masks.

Surprise Essence Concealer by Etude House

Surprise essence concealer is probably one of my favorite concealer, actually the one I've been using frequently especially on a daily basis. I got this from Etude House located at Centrio Mall CDO, it cost me P298 in shade no.2 natural beige. I am pretty impressed how blend-able this concealer is for me. It doesn't appear orange-y on the face which some of concealer does.

Product details:

1. comes in 2 shades - natural beige ( fits for neutral tone, yellowish ), light beige ( fits for cool tone, pinkish/pale )

2. Coverage is light to medium ( I haven't tried the stick version of this but i think that is more of the full coverage )

3. It is a liquid concealer. It is best to apply it on the spot then just dab it enough to blend and cover it.

4. Product is affordable ,  P298 only. (Great price for what it can do to cover your spots.)

It's my second time purchasing this product and will definitely repurchase. :)

Lay Bare Waxing Salon ( Centrio branch CDO )

I think most of us have tried hot wax and it is terribly painful to go through it all the time and the redness after doing so is horrible. I have tried doing it by myself and some waxing salon but the moment I've heard and tried Lay Bare i said to myself "NO more hot wax".

I started to refrain myself from shaving and hot wax because I have a very sensitive skin, I tend to have redness and occurrence of  "chicken skin". And it started to darken my underarm so I was having a problem on what would be my other alternative. Then I was glad enough I found Lay Bare and tried the services myself. Honestly, it took me only to visit twice and I started to recognize the softness of my underarm(as in, no more "chicken skin") and it started to lighten out ( I'm so happy :D for white and soft underarm). The growth of hair also varies but I visit every after 2-3 weeks, it depends. It also helps to make the hair thinner and makes less hair growth. FitnessBlender Workout Videos

Few months ago I gained a lot of weight because I'm unlimited when it comes to eating ( excuse me for that...). My normal weight is around 48kg-50kg but months ago i turned into almost 55kg, so i decided i really need to burn those fats.

Gladly, i found this interesting YouTube channel. This channel is created by Daniel and Kelli, the  couple behind this channel. I've been following them and doing the workout for almost a month now and with proper diet it really helped me lose 6kg, now i'm in my 49kg weight (Yey! :D).

Ashley Hair Products

I've been a user of these products so i thought to blog about it. I came across with these products since i started to be very particular about product ingredients. Every time i go to stores and get interested to some products i always make sure to check at the back and look for ingredients like Paraben (which is according to studies, an ingredient in most products in the market that is not good for our health ). So yes! Ashley products are Paraben free ( in case the manufacturer intended not to state it in the packaging, well i would never know ).

I got a conditioner ( the yellow one in the picture, price Php 59 ) and a hair treatment ( the green one :), price Php 139 ). I got it in our local store and at a very affordable price. I believe this product was once available in Watsons but they discontinued it , i don't know why ????. Gladly, i found some stores here in our city selling it. I kept using it specially the conditioner, i super like how moisturizing it is on my hair because it is a water-based product. I am currently using the Human Nature shampoo 100% natural , paraben free ( i will post a different blog about the product ). And the hair treatment does a lot of wonders in my treated hair. These products is worth it! I will definitely repurchase again and again. :)

Hair Tips:

1. Don't use shampoo every day because it will dry out your hair.

2. Check on Paraben free products for your hair.

3. Use hair treatment twice  or thrice a week especially for colored and treated hair.

4. Avoid using too much blow dry, hair iron or curlers on your hair because too much heat will not be healthy for your hair.

5.Avoid too much use of hair gels,hair spray or serums. But if you do need it that much look for serums with natural ingredients.

How to start up your own business?

Few years ago while i was just an employee, i keep on asking myself this question "How should i start my own business? " . Well, ever since i was a kid way back in my elementary years i used to sell candies just to earn money. My parents can provide but i just thought of how it feels when your  earning by your own hard work. That is how i am until i graduated in college, my degree? yes of course! I finished a business degree.

After a graduate, my thoughts of having my own business never stopped. But how should i start it? I don't even have a capital. I said to myself " i need to work to earn at the same time to learn in handling business through my work." And for almost 4yrs working i did learn a lot and with the nature of my work  i was able to travel to different places. I am so thankful for that experience and imagine while working i was able to do online business also :) I was selling clothing and apparels online. That was just my drive, simply enjoy selling ;)

Year 2011 while i was so exhausted and tired of my work i decided to open up my own boutique. I got an opportunity to rent a space. But that time i just don't have enough money. I never stopped thinking what to do, i realized i had to come up with money through cash loan. I really had this fear of having debts but i weighed out everything and made sure i will be able to cope up with it. I know i had to be disciplined enough to handle money. Honestly, with my experience as an employee i was never able to save enough. A lot are saying you can never get rich as an employee but i believe it depends, some really got rich. You know you can always be what you want to be.

I am still a starter in business, i must say its never easy. I cannot say i am successful now because i am still striving to make the business work. I tried to open up my second shop, i even have it in my previous post. The downside was i tried to hurry things up and invested on the second branch right away without realizing that i should have made the first one stable first, my bad i got aggressive that time. I lost it but i had no regrets because it made me realize a lot about business. You really have to take it one step at a time. You have to make sure the business is stable and improving.  I have talked to a lot of business people and they taught me well that establishing a business is not that easy and it wont take you only few months but it would take you years to make a business really work. They say you can never be an entrepreneur if your not a risk taker but make sure you are risking on something you know you will never give up. Business is like a relationship, don't get into it if you know its not worth keeping and worth fighting, you know a lot of trials will come along way but you know what ever happens you will not give up. Business is sustainability but always work hard for it and if you know you have done everything you have to do and its not working then let go. But don't make failure stop you from doing business again because in time with your hardwork,passion and drive , you know you will be successful.

I may not earn millions with my business but i am happy because i know its what i love to do. And i am contented enough because of the happiness i have. I may be contented but i will still strive hard but not pushing myself to much. You don't have to pressure yourself too much because when you do every failure will be heartbreak. You just do business because its what you love to do,your passion is into it and when you are 100% into it, you will be able to sustain.

Always start a kind of business you know your interested in doing. Because at the end of the day with the failure and success, you never have regrets. ;)

Sleek eyeshadow palette

A must have palette for your daily and night look,from simple to chic look.

I've been loving this palette since i purchased it.  Sleek makeup is a product from UK and gladly i found it in Crossings Crossings at Shangrila. It cost me Php 650 and with the product i must say its worth it. It is also highly rated and great reviews from bloggers. I can't say its a dupe for urban decay naked palette but it is comparable. 

It is pigmented and the colors are just too pretty to resist. The palette comes in different shades and i got mine in Au Naturel palette no.601,it is perfect for daily makeup look and you can use the darker shades for your party smoky look. The palette is mineral based and most of it is matte,so it's perfect.
